To "break out" is an expression that often means "to become free of" or to "escape" something.
Here are some examples of how you could use it:
"I can't wait to break out of my unhealthy lifestyle!"
"Did you hear? A convicted muderer broke out of prison yesterday."
The other meaning for "break out" is to "erupt" or "explode/ignite", and usually implies that something is out of control. When using the expression in this way, you are usually describing an event or action that is bad/negative.
Here are some examples:
"At 4:30pm yesterday, a riot broke out between unhappy citizens and police, in what was thought to have been a peaceful protest."
"A new, potentially deadly strain of influenza broke out last week, and everyone is strongly advised to wear surgical masks when outdoors."
Note that in the above examples, the expression "break out" is being used in past tense. This is often the case because, when something breaks out or escapes, it has happened unexpectedly or without warning, and so the term will often be used to describe a past event. You can't really 'predict' something breaking out in this context.
I hope that this information helps :) please let me know if you have trouble understanding my answer.
