I am a Canadian who loves the art of public speaking! I have honors degrees in both English and Speech Communication and I have spent eight years applying my business speaking and writing skills to a career as a leader and project manager in the fast-paced world of business IT. However, there is more to me than just boardrooms and business deals. I have a passion for creativity! I have written four stage plays, I sing, play guitar and have performed live shows since I was young. I have even appeared as an actor on stage and in movies and TV shows! I love the outdoors, running, hiking, camping, and lifting weights.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I have more than 9 years of experience as an English teacher. I have taught over 4,000 online classes to both adults and children. I also currently work as a corporate teacher who offers specific business English classes and public speaking training to international clients. In addition to my degrees, I currently hold 5 specialized ESL certificates (TESL, TOEIC, IELTS, Business English, Linguistics). In 2017 I won the teacher trainer of the year award. I am fluent in American Sign Language, Khmer Sign Language, and conversational in Khmer. For most of my adult students studying is not the problem! They are experts at learning material, writing tests, and applying formulas. The problem happens when they meet an English speaker and they can't catch the meaning, freeze up, and then lose confidence. This is where I can be the most help! I have spent thousands of hours helping my students to develop English skills that they can actually use in real world speaking scenarios, all while helping them build their confidence. Dave has been helping me how to effectively deliver what I want to say in my speeches and he has helped me become a confident speaker in just a couple of lessons already. I have been taking conversation classes with Dave for over a year now, and I feel that I have really improved. The lessons are very interactive, the topics varied and adapted to my needs and interests. My fear of interacting with an English speaker has practically disappeared, so much so that I look for opportunities to do so!

Public Speaking workshop with Dave is really fun and most importantly his class is results-driven. I get so much out of it in just one lesson. Now I'm already preparing to speak at a speech contest! I could not have done it without Dave's sincere guidance. Dave really care about what his students want in their learnings. I highly recommend anyone to give Public Speaking workshop a go!
