Patient, supportive, and detail-oriented is how my students describe me. I’m Zohar, a native English speaker from Montreal, Canada with 10+ years teaching expertise at home, in Asia, and online.
Fluency, comprehension, pronunciation, and scaffolding are my specialties. I work with learners of all ages, skill levels, and backgrounds, and I am honored to be part of my students' progress and success.

Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) is a method that prioritizes how well other people understand you, and Total Physical Response (TPR) involves pairing gestures with speech to increase retention and reduce stress. We discuss you, current events, popular culture, and material tailored to your goals and interests. I utilize role-playing games to prepare you for real-life situations like dining in restaurants, shopping, traveling, interviews, administrative tasks, and everything else you do. I really enjoyed conversational classes with Zohar. He helped me to prepare for the online interview with one of the well-known speakers in nutrition. We revised the grammar structures and vocabulary without any boring books and exercises.
Zohar is a very supportive and attentive teacher. I highly recommend him if you want to take your English to another level without stress, anxiety, and headache. :)
