I graduated from the University of London with an honours degree in Pure Mathematics and immediately entered the financial industry. I loved the communication and people management aspect and decided to look for a new career where I could combine all my experience and follow my interests. This led me to teaching. I considered teaching mathematics or business, but after moving to France and discovering the hurdles of language learning I decided to become an English teacher.
I love learning and have adapted my teaching and learning styles as I discover more about psychology and the best methods to achieve success.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
Every student has a reason to learn a language, I strongly believe that every lesson should be a step along this path. My lessons focus on learning through conversation and discussion. Lessons are adapted to fit the students' interests and needs, time is precious and it should not be wasted on topics that the student does not find engaging.บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
Areas I focus on:
Business English
This includes small talk for networking, meetings and conference discussions and preparing/giving presentations.
Conversational English
This starts with small talk and progresses through to current affairs or news discussions.
ALL the above include:
Accent Reduction - English is a stressed timed language, understanding this area and implementing it will not only improve others people understanding of what you are saying, but it will also solve listening difficulties.
Word analysis - how to grow your vocabulary without memorising a dictionary.
Current affairs / inspirational materials - these will be used to practise the English techniquesประกาศนียบัตร
