Hi! I am Shiekha and I'm teaching Tagalog, Cebuano and English here in Italki. I'm from the Philippines, Davao City. I am fluent in speaking Tagalog, Cebuano and English. I use my vacant time by learning language through watching movies, documentaries and pageantries. I love talking to people and learning wisdom from them. I love teaching, especially kids and teens. Being a tutor for me is a fulfilling and important job that involves instructing, advising, and assisting students as they pursue their learning journey. As a tutor, I have the chance to improve someone's life by assisting them in understanding certain topics, acquiring critical thinking abilities, and achieving their capabilities in language learning. As a mentor, inspiration, and reliable resource, I adjust my teaching methods to suit each student's individual needs. As I work to create a welcoming learning environment, patience, empathy, and good communication are key qualities in my teaching.บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
My teaching styles varies on what the students need or on what level they are but for sure it is more interactive and fun. I'm not into making a student feels anxiety and pressure while learning with me. As much as possible I'll make sure all classes are unforgettable. I'll be using visual aids as I believe visual aids are essential for accelerating learning for students. Visual elements like pictures, charts, graphs, and videos make difficult content more understandable and interesting for learners. By giving concepts illustrations, visual aids improve comprehension. Great lesson.
I appreciate that Shiekha is 10 minutes before the lesson.
She speaks slowly and clear.
She is so friendly and has very good conversations.

Shiekha had prepared a quiz for me to review what we had been over in previous lessons, as well as a fun exercise where I got the chance to describe what I saw in a picture. She knows when to help me to find the right words and when to let me search for them myself. These lessons have been a wonderful learning experience and I recommend Shiekha to anyone who wishes to learn Bisaya.
