It's 3-day holiday in Japan. Today, I'd cleaned up my house for a long time. It's oosouji(大掃除) in Japanese. Correct oosouji is done at the end of the year, generally. Well, yes I slacked off. It was difficult to clean under my bed because there was no space for putting cleaning tools in. But finally, I made some space for it after trial and error! It becomes to be easy-cleaning under my bed so I'm very very very happy.

After raining for nearly two weeks, the sunshine finally came back to Shanghai. I took the chance to take a walk near my home this afternoon. I used to consider myself an indoor person, but later I realized that I’m an introverted person instead of an indoor one. The myth of introverts includes that they prefer to stay at home rather than go out. As an introvert, I do enjoy staying at home doing whatever I like, but I enjoy hanging out on my own without any specific aim as well. Besides, people usually think that introverts are afraid of or even hate social activities, and they can by no means be good at socializing with others. People around me can hardly believe that I’m introverted because I get along with others pretty well. Being an introvert doesn’t necessarily mean that I can’t handle interpersonal relationships. It just means that social activities aren’t a must in my daily life and I gain energy from being alone and enjoying myself.

The sun is shining today, and the temperature has been gradually rising. I guess winter here is finally coming to an end. This morning, my MeeMaw excitedly came to take us to a circus. It was part of the annual fair, and if we had missed it, we would have had to wait until next year to see it again. The show was absolutely amazing; watching stunts on TV and seeing them live are completely different experiences. I shrieked when one of the clowns almost slipped off the string in the air, I thought he might fall to his doom. It was really heart-pounding! Then it happened again and again; he was risking his life to entertain the audience. That was crazy! And as per the old cliche, the magician conjured a rabbit after summoning some pigeons, then pulled out ribbons from a tall hat. Even though we all knew it was a trick, it still looked magical and convincing. In the end, I even caught a balloon when a clown was randomly tossing them while riding a unicycle. These incredible performers made my day!
