In this conversation class, everything is adapted to your level and interests. Whether you're just starting out or already have some experience with Portuguese, we'll shape the lessons around what works best for you.

You're welcome to ask questions about Brazil, the language, or anything else that sparks your curiosity. We can explore specific topics through guided questions, translations, and open discussions. Our conversations can cover movies, music, everyday situations, or dive into slang and idiomatic expressions. Whether you prefer light and funny chats or deep, philosophical discussions—I’m open to it all!

Mistakes are very welcome,and even encouraged—they’re an essential part of the learning process. The goal is to help you speak more comfortably, build confidence, and enjoy the journey.

If you're interested, I take note of any words or expressions you have trouble with during the lesson and send you a recap afterward, complete with explanations and a related exercise. I also enjoy recommending content like songs, videos, movies, and books based on your tastes—so you can stay connected to Portuguese in a natural, enjoyable way outside of class.

In this class, we will have a chat , which can be free or guided, with topics of your choice. To ensure a dynamic and engaging conversation, I have a wide selection of questions and topics, involving more than 200 subjects, always tailored to your interests. We can discuss travel experiences, cultural customs and everyday situations, as well as simulate dialogues in schools, restaurants, airports and other practical contexts, or debate current topics. The goal is to make language practice natural and enjoyable!

Conversational Portuguese – Flexible, Fun, and Focused on You. Bora Falar!

Aqui, ensino a base da língua para quem está começando. Vamos abordar os primeiros passos para aprender português de forma simples e eficiente. Trabalharemos com livros didáticos, exercícios personalizados, vídeos e áudios, adaptando tudo ao seu ritmo e objetivos. 

Você começará aprendendo:
-  Alfabeto, pronúncia e fonética
- Frases essenciais (saudações, apresentações, pedidos essenciais, vocabulário em lojas e restaurantes...)
- Verbos básicos e uso dos tempos verbais iniciais
- Estrutura de frases e construção de sentenças simples 
- Dias da semana, meses e números

E, à medida que você avança, podemos ampliar os tópicos para atender às suas necessidades e metas específicas. Ao final do curso, você terá uma base sólida e estará pronto para começar a conversar em português com total confiança!

Here, I teach the basics of the language to those who are starting out. We will approach the first steps in learning Portuguese in a simple and efficient way. We will work with textbooks, customized exercises, videos and audios, adapting everything to your pace and goals. 

If you're at an A1 or A2 level and don’t yet feel confident speaking Portuguese or have lots of questions, this class is perfect for you! I use structured teaching materials—such as books, slides, and interactive exercises—to help you build a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary.

We’ll work through the basics step by step, with an active and detailed approach that focuses on your understanding. I also assign homework and keep track of your progress, both in comprehension and conversation, so we can celebrate your improvements and adjust the lessons to your needs as you grow.

My goal is to help you feel more confident using Portuguese in real situations, while making the learning process enjoyable and rewarding.

Your Path to Portuguese – A Beginner’s Guide (A1/A2 Essentials)

Do long Portuguese texts make you sweat? Do official emails, news articles, or work reports feel like a secret code? Don’t worry—this class is here to turn confusing paragraphs into clear meaning (and maybe even a little fun along the way)!

In this reading and comprehension class, we’ll dive into real texts that match your goals—whether you're learning Portuguese for work, study, or just want to understand what Brazilians are saying on the news, in books, or even on WhatsApp.

We'll work with all kinds of texts: business emails, articles, workplace documents, job-related materials, or even literature (if you're feeling bold!). Step by step, you’ll learn to:

Spot the main idea like a language detective 🕵️‍♀️

Decode new vocabulary without crying over every word

Understand tone (Is it formal? Friendly? Passive-aggressive?)

Read faster and smarter

Apply what you read in real situations, like writing emails, giving opinions, or just sounding super clever

I’ll also send you vocabulary notes, mini-exercises, and, if you're into it, reading challenges to keep you sharp between classes. Everything is adapted to your level and professional or personal interests—whether you work in business, health, law, education, or just want to read a Brazilian novel without using Google Translate every five seconds.
