Our trial lesson is aimed at getting to know each other, identifying your language level by a variety of ways using different types of exercises, discussing your interests. By the end of the trial lesson I will give you a feedback on your level of the language, areas we need to work on and ways to improve your Russian/English.

The main goal of this course to enhance the level of the Russian language in general. There is an in-depth study of the Russian language working on a variety of aspects such as

1) Speaking (This is the aspect we pay attention to every lesson. It might be in the form of a natural conversation or doing a particular task.)

2) Grammar (If you are a beginner, we start learning grammar together. If you already speak the language, we work on those grammar topics which are difficult for you.)

3) Vocabulary (Every lesson you have a list of words and phrases. Moreover, we learn vocabulary connected with different topics and practise it afterwards.)

4)  Pronunciation (We concentrate on those sounds of the Russian language which cause special problems for you to make you sound natural.)

5) Listening (This means doing the listening tasks to improve your listening comprehension by listening, discussing and retelling.)

6) Reading (Reading for different purposes. This includes reading of the dialogues, texts, authentic materials.)

7) Writing (We learn how to write and do a variety of tasks to master your writing skills.)

This course is concentrated on the development of communication skills and improvement of listening comprehension.

We will work on such aspects as speaking and listening. Speaking might be in the form of a natural conversation or doing a particular task. Listening means doing the tasks to improve your listening comprehension. Moreover, you will be able to enrich your vocabulary because every lesson you have a list of words and phrases.

This course is aimed at helping you to develop the most authentic Russian accent possible. We can not underestimate the role of phonetics when we learn a particular language. Knowing the alphabet does not guarantee the acceptable Russian accent. During this course we will:
- concentrate on those sounds of the Russian language which cause special problems for you
-  discuss the most subtle difference to make you sound natural 
- work on intonation
- discuss the stress in the Russian language
