I mix communication and grammar, so I first introduce the vocabulary and structures needed to have a conversation about a specific topic and then in the practice phase I create an adequate context (with the help manuals provide) where student have to reproduce the structures and vocabulary taught. I am also psychologist so I do believe that emotions and motivation play a huge role in learning a language. I'm always open to find new ways of teaching.
