This group lesson is for adult English students (B2) who want to explore a current topic or issue that is being spoken about in the news. We will start with a warm-up discussion to become more familiar with our topic. We will then watch a short video and review some of the vocabulary from the video or vocabulary that is used to discuss the topic. Afterward, students will go into breakout rooms to discuss the topic with the provided discussion questions. There is no need to prepare for this class, other than downloading the conversation questions. This group class is for students with a B2 level or higher. Please be mindful of this and be prepared to possibly discuss such topics respectfully before joining the class ****

The goal of each lesson is to discuss a specific topic, expand vocabulary, and improve the student's confidence as an English speaker in a relaxed and fun environment. Since this is a conversation class, I encourage each student to speak openly with other students. Ask questions and share your opinions! Due to this being a group lesson, students will not be corrected individually. Instead, collective corrections will be noted and sent to each student at the end of the class.
