おはようございます。日本語だんだんポットキャストのゆかりです。

10月31日はハロウィンですね。

日本語では、カタカナで
ハロウィンや、ハロウィーンといいます。

日本では、わかい人や子どもはハロウィンを楽しむことが多いです。

たとえば、USJ、ユニバーサルスタジオジャパンでは、
ハロウィンのイベントがあります。

1年で、いちばん人気のあるイベントだと思います。

東京(とうきょう)ディズニーランドもおなじですね。

ディズニーランドでも、1年でいちばん人が多いと思います。

私も昔(むかし)はハロウィンのイベントに行っていました。

でもいまは、とにかく人が多いので、
行かなくなりました。

日本の渋谷(しぶや)では、仮装(かそう)した人があつまります。

"仮装する"とは、ほかの何かに、かわることです。

お寿司(すし)になったり、
ワンピースのルフィになったり・・

"仮装する"といいます。

「今年のハロウィンは何に仮装するの？」

「じつは、キャプテンアメリカの仮装がしたいんだよね。」

といいます。

ほかにも、

「わぁ、かわいい、ねこの仮装！」

「え、ねこじゃなくて、ピカチュウに仮装したつもりなんやけど・・」

といいます。

今日はカタカナがたくさんありましたね。

私には弟が1人います。弟は5歳年下です。
私と弟は会えば話しますが電話やメッセージなどは用がない限りしません。
多分1年に数回しか連絡しないと思います。
でも、弟は月に2，3回は実家に顔を出すので私が日本にいるときは月に1度くらいは実家で会うことが多いです。
弟と私の性格は全然違います。弟は総合格闘技をしている理学療法士で体を動かすこととバイクを改造することが趣味です。一方で私は家にいるのが好きで運動が大嫌いです。愛犬の散歩と週に1度のボルダリングが唯一の運動です。弟は海外旅行にあまり興味がなく、ついこの前初めてタイに行ったのが初めての海外旅行でした。とても楽しくてまた旅行したいと言っています。私は18歳の頃から1人でアメリカやカナダに行ったりしていて、中学生のころからいつも海外に憧れていて英語の勉強に力を入れていました。
弟と会う時、話すことと言えば仕事のこと、生活のこと、最近行ってよかった場所などです。最近は弟がタイ旅行に行ったのでタイの話で盛り上がりました。タイでぼったくられそうになった時の話やタクシーの配車アプリが便利だったこと、今回はバンコクとアユタヤだけだったので次はチェンマイに行きたいことなどでした。
