あなたは『デイサービス』という言葉を知っていますか？高齢者、つまりおじいさんやおばあさんが、昼間に通う施設のことですね。普通、デイサービスといえば、みんなで歌を歌ったり、折り紙をしたり、軽い体操をしたりする場所をイメージします。
でも、最近とてもユニークなデイサービスが注目されています。それは、パチンコ屋さんの『マルハン』が運営に関わっている、まるでラスベガスのカジノのような場所なんです。


その施設に行くと、驚く光景が広がっています。中にはパチンコ台、スロット、麻雀テーブル、そしてトランプ。スタッフもカジノのような格好をして、まるでお客さんをVIPのように迎えます。
皆さんはこう思うかもしれません。『おじいさんやおばあさんがギャンブルをして、お金がなくなったらどうするの？』と。でも、安心してください。
ここには大切なルールがあります。それは『本物のお金は一切使わない』ということです。
