I went to see my doctor for a check-up because I felt extremely tired and lacked energy. At times I felt confused, and my husband thought I looked very pale too.

I ate some fish which didn't taste good, and it gave me an upset stomach.

Hey this is Chadwick.

Today I am going to talk briefly about those little pop-up advertisements, also called pop-up ads, that appear on websites or videos that you are perusing on the internet.

I fully understand the necessity of the pop up ads.  I mean, while the internet appears to offer us so much information instantly, and in most cases 'free', the truth is someone somehow must pay the bills.

So, I completely appreciate the need to sell something in order to bring in some cold hard cash, or, money.

And yes, it's true, occasionally I enjoy having my attention drawn to new and exotic music equipment from my favorite shopping website, Sweetwater.

However, if I am going to be honest, most of the time pop ups annoy me.

I mean, I'm pretty intentional about how I spend my time on the internet.

And if I am looking for some specific information on a topic, or trying to listen some music on Youtube, then it can be a bit of a bother to 'X' out of an ad, or wait 15 seconds before I can watch a video.

Hablemos de Terror – El Conjuro

Host 1 (Carlos): ¡Bienvenidos a Hablemos de Terror! El podcast donde analizamos las películas más aterradoras. Hoy hablaremos de El Conjuro. Yo soy Carlos.

Host 2 (Ana): Y yo soy Ana. El Conjuro es una de las películas de terror más escalofriantes que he visto. La primera vez que la vi, no pude dormir en días.

Carlos: Sí, la historia está basada en hechos reales. Se supone que todo lo que les pasó a los Warren realmente ocurrió. ¿Tú crees en fantasmas?

Ana: La verdad… después de ver esta película, empecé a dudar. La manera en que construye el suspenso es increíble.

Carlos: ¡Totalmente! La atmósfera, la música, la casa oscura… todo da miedo. ¿Qué escena te pareció la más aterradora?

Ana: Sin duda, cuando la madre es arrastrada por una fuerza invisible. Yo estaba gritando frente a la pantalla. ¿Y a ti cuál te asustó más?

Carlos: La del juego de las palmas. Cuando la niña está en el sótano y de repente se escuchan dos palmadas detrás de ella… ¡Me congelé del miedo!

Ana: ¡Sí, esa escena es brutal! Y los actores hicieron un trabajo increíble. Vera Farmiga y Patrick Wilson realmente parecían los Warren.

Carlos: Eso es lo que hace que la película sea tan aterradora. No es solo efectos baratos, sino que te mete en la historia.

Ana: Exacto. Y lo más loco es que la familia Perron, en la vida real, realmente vivió en esa casa embrujada. ¿Te atreverías a pasar una noche ahí?

Carlos: ¡Ni loco! Me encanta ver películas de terror, pero vivir una… ¡jamás!

Ana: Yo tampoco. Solo pensarlo me pone los pelos de punta. Bueno, del 1 al 10, ¿qué tan aterradora te pareció El Conjuro?

Carlos: Le doy un 9. Es de las más terroríficas que he visto. ¿Y tú?

Ana: Para mí, un 10. Aún tengo pesadillas con ella.

Carlos: Bueno, hasta aquí el episodio de hoy en Hablemos de Terror. Dígannos en los comentarios qué película de miedo quieren que analicemos la próxima vez.
