Hi everyone!! I know it’s been a loooong long time since we met on this channel. I’m so glad I can finally do this again.

This is 6th Episode of Thai T-la-nid Podcast and we are going to learn five expressions that you can use when you see someone after a long time. Ok, เริ่มกันเลยค่ะ!! Let’s go!

1. ไม่ได้เจอกันนานเลย (mâi-dâai jer gan naan loiie) = Long time no see! 

ไม่ได้ (mâi-dâai) + verb = didn’t do sth
เจอกัน (jer gan) = to meet each other 
เลย (loiie) = at all, totally, extremely 


2. เป็นยังไงบ้าง (bpen yang-ngai bâang) = How are you? How have you been?
เป็น (bpen) = to be
ยังไง (yang-ngai) = how 
บ้าง = an ending particle (when you expect multiple answers or when the answer can be anything)


3. สบายดีไหม (sà-baai-dee mái) = Are you doing well? Have you been well?
สบายดี sà-baai-dee = to be well
ไหม (mái) = yes-no particle


4. คิดถึงมาก (kít-tĕung mâak) = I miss you. I missed you.
คิดถึง (kít-tĕung) = to miss 
มาก (mâak) = very


5. คิดถึงกันไหม (kít-tĕung gan mái) = Do you miss me/each other? 
กัน (gan) = each other


Now let’s repeat again.

1. ไม่ได้เจอกันนานเลย  (mâi-dâai jer gan naan loiie) = Long time no see.
2. เป็นยังไงบ้าง (bpen yang-nagi bâang) = How are you? How have you been?
3. สบายดีไหม (sà-baai-dee mái) = Are you doing well? Have you been well?
4. คิดถึงมาก (kít-tĕung mâak) = I miss you. I missed you.
5. คิดถึงกันไหม (kít-tĕung gan mái) = Do you miss me/each other?
