Listening Lab: A Family Day Out by Train | Real British English #091
Açıklama
British stations are noisy, announcements are fast, and plans change at the last minute. Learners often catch every word of a textbook dialogue but miss "the eleven fourteen is now departing from platform six". Many also translate directly and ask "One ticket going and coming, please" instead of "A return, please", or "Where is the way of the beach?" instead of "Is this the right way to the beach?".
In this episode:
• Before you listen: key words
• The scene with decode lines
• Listen again for details
• Announcements and times
