老师：这个星期有什么安排？
lǎoshī：zhège xīngqī yǒu shénme ānpái ？
Teacher: What are your plans for this week?

学生xuésheng：今天我想去附近逛逛。 jīntiān wǒ xiǎng qù fùjìn guàngguang,
         Student:     I want wander around nearby today.
            明天早上我去“天安门”广场。míngtiān zǎoshang wǒ qù “ tiān ān mén ” guǎngchǎng.
            I will go to Tiananmen SquareTomorrow morning.
            星期二去颐和园、星期三去故宫。xīng qī èr qù yí hé yuán、xīng qī sān qù gù gōng.
            I will go to the Summer Palace on Tuesday and the Forbidden City on Wednesday.
            星期四我想去北京胡同儿逛逛。xīngqīsì wǒ xiǎng qù Běijīng hútòngr guàngguang.
            I want to go for a stroll in Beijing's Hutongs on Thursday.
            星期五我想去尝尝“北京烤鸭”。xīngqīwǔ wǒxiǎng qù chángchang “ Běijīng kǎoyā ”.
            I want to try 'Beijing Roast Duck' on Friday

老师：太好了，那星期六、星期日呢？
lǎoshī： tàihǎo le，nà xīngqī liù、 xīngqī rì ne ？
Teacher: Great, what about Saturday and Sunday?

学生：星期六我要去长城，星期日就在酒店休息。
xuésheng：xīngqī liù wǒ yào qù cháng chéng,xīngqī rì jiù zài jiǔdiàn xiūxi.
Student: I'm going to the Great Wall on Saturday and will take a rest at the hotel on Sunday.

老师：很棒，祝你玩得开心！
lǎoshī：hěn bàng，zhù nǐ wánde kāixīn ！

New words：
安排 ān pái：plan；arrange （in details）
星期 xīng qī：week + 一 yī～Monday、二 èr~Tuesday、三 sān~Wednesday、四 sì~Thursday、五 wǔ ~Friday、六 liù~Saturday、**日 rì~Sunday
今天 jīn tiān：today
明天 míng tiān：yesterday
附近 fù jìn：nearby；close to

逛逛guàngguang：go for a walk；wander around 
尝尝chángchang：try；taste
p.s：In Chinese,verbs can be reduplicated to indicate that they happen briefly or "a little bit." 

广场 guǎng chǎng：square
想 xiǎng：think；would like to（just an idea）
要 yào：will；want（strong will or idea and want to make it）
就 jiù：just or then（ 就 jiù + Verb Phrase）
休息 xiūxi：rest；take a rest

Μια φορά κι έναν καιρό ζούσαν σε μια μικρή στέρνα μερικά βατράχια. Όλη τη μέρα έτρωγαν, τεμπέλιαζαν και πότε - πότε τραγουδούσαν, μα δεν ήταν καθόλου ευχαριστημένα από τη ζωή τους. 
- Πφ, βαρέθηκα πια αυτή τη ζωή! είπε μια μέρα ένας γερο - βάτραχος. 
Είμαστε σαν φυλακισμένα σ' αυτή τη στέρνα και δεν ξέρουμε πώς είναι ο κόσμος... 
Ξέρετε τι σκέφτηκα; Πολύ κοντά μας κυλάει ένα μικρό ποτάμι. 
Θα φθάσω ως εκεί, θα μπω στα νερά του και θα φύγω μακριά να γνωρίσω καινούργια μέρη... 
- Θα 'ρθουμε και μεις, θα 'ρθουμε και μεις! φώναξαν τ' άλλα βατράχια. Βαρεθήκαμε πια να ζούμε νύχτα και μέρα σ' αυτή τη στέρνα και να βλέπουμε τα ίδια και τα ίδια! 
- Ελάτε κοντά μου! είπε ο γερο - βάτραχος. Και πηδώντας ξεκίνησαν για το ποτάμι. 
Έφτασαν μια ώρα αργότερα, βρήκαν ένα κομμάτι ξύλο, πήδησαν πάνω του και ξεκίνησαν για το μεγάλο τους ταξίδι στα νερά του ποταμού. Το ξύλο, σα βάρκα προχωρούσε και τα βατράχια με ολάνοιχτα μάτια από το θαυμασμό κοίταζαν γύρω τους, τα δέντρα, τα δάση, τα χωριά, τους κήπους με τα λουλούδια, τα ζώα και τα παιδιά που έτρεχαν κοντά στις όχθες. Ήταν όλα τους ενθουσιασμένα. 
- Μπράβο! είπε σε μια στιγμή ο γερο - βάτραχος. Κάναμε πολύ καλά που φύγαμε από τη στέρνα! Είδατε τι όμορφος που είναι ο κόσμος; - Τι κουτά που είμαστε και καθόμαστε τόσον καιρό σ' αυτή την παλιο-στέρνα! είπε ένας άλλος βάτραχος. Βέβαια, το φαγητό δε μας έλειπε, αλλά κοντεύαμε να μουχλιάσουμε από την ακινησία... Α... ήταν σοφή η ιδέα σου να φύγουμε... Κοιτάξτε τι ομορφιά γύρω μας! 
Το απόγευμα η βάρκα τους σταμάτησε σ' ένα σημείο του ποταμού που έμοιαζε με λίμνη και τα βατράχια πήδησαν στο νερό. 
- Όμορφα είναι εδώ! είπε ο γερο -βάτραχος. 
- Εδώ να μείνουμε! συμφώνησαν και τ' άλλα βατράχια. 
Ξαφνικά, είδαν ένα μεγάλο πουλί να κατεβαίνει από τον ουρανό και να πέφτει πλάι τους. 
Τα κουτά βατράχια το κοίταζαν με θαυμασμό και περιέργεια... ∆εν ήξεραν ότι αυτό το πουλί ήταν ο πελαργός, που ο καλύτερος μεζές του είναι τα βατράχια... Έτσι, ο πελαργός τα έφαγε όλα...

Tema: Es común confundir To Realize con el verbo REALIZAR porque el sonido es muy similar. Pero NO significan la misma cosa. Realizar es algo más del tipo To Do / To Make, pero en contexto.
Entonces.. ¿qué pasa con To Realize/Realise?. 

Ese es el tema hoy... en español decimos DARSE CUENTA.

DARSE CUENTA es verbo que conjugamos con los pronombres reflexivos. Pero hay algo más..., veamos estos ejemplos:
Me doy cuenta del sol brillante de hoy.
¿Te das cuenta del precio de esos zapatos?.
Ustedes se dan cuenta de ese olor... ¡hhmm!
Ellos se dan cuenta de que estudiar gramática es muy chévere.
Nosotros nos damos cuenta de que hay que escuchar el podcast para entender el punto.

(C)  Das Europäische Parlament möchte bis 2030 eine Situation schaffen, in der rund 50 Prozent der heute VERSCHWENDETEN Lebensmittel besser VERTEILT werden. Wie könnte man das machen?
(D)  Man könnte mit Lebensmitteln, die nicht mehr für Menschen GEEIGNET sind, zum Beispiel Tiere füttern. Man könnte das Interesse am SPENDEN von Lebensmitteln erhöhen, wenn man die HygieneVORSCHRIFTEN für diese Lebensmittel lockern würde. Man könnte Verbraucher informieren, dass viele Lebensmittel auch nach dem MINDESTHALTBARKEITSDATUM noch GENIESSBAR sind. Und schließlich gibt es Apps wie „Zu gut für die Tonne“. Sie informieren Menschen über Restaurants und Geschäfte, wo Lebensmittel billiger verkauft werden, damit sie nicht in der Mülltonne landen.

"If you were an ice cream flavor, which one would you be, and why?"

This may be your idea of a nightmare interview question — and yes, employers really use it.

Your answer won't reveal anything about your ability to, say, use Microsoft Excel or drive a forklift truck. But it may tell your potential boss something about your "soft skills."

It's been said that hard skills will get you an interview, but soft skills will get you a job.

Hard skills are things you might learn at university, like how to write computer code or speak French.

Soft skills are the things you might not be able to prove with a qualification, but that will help you succeed in the workplace.

These could include being good at things like problem-solving, time management, and communicating with others or understanding how they feel — even being a good listener.

Employers say soft skills are more important than ever as the world adapts to remote and hybrid working patterns, because being able to communicate clearly and adapt to new situations is even more vital to success.

Some have called soft skills innate. But can we learn them or at least improve them?

"Yes," says jobs website Indeed.

It says the keys are to communicate regularly with the people on your team, be open to feedback, and pay attention to the way others overcome challenges including how they interact with people to do so.

Indeed also says it's important to simply get to work on time. This will help with time management, and also helps you achieve your goals and stand out from your colleagues.

Amanda Vickers, CEO of training company Speak First, told The Guardian that it's also important to try to understand what other people's needs and motives might be. This will help you adapt and work successfully with different people.

So, which ice cream flavor are you?

Well, the flavor isn't important but your answer could demonstrate soft skills such as creativity, quick thinking and even self-awareness.

Just don't choose vanilla.
