Too or Either A: I don’t like chocolate. B: I don’t like chocolate too. OR A: I don’t like chocolate. B: I don’t like chocolate either. While I’m sure we can all agree that A and B are both wrong for not liking chocolate (🍫 😋), which response is correct? Should B have used “too” or “either”? When we are agreeing with a positive sentence, we use the word ”too”. For example: A: I like chocolate. B: I like chocolate, too. (finally, some normal people 🍫 😉) However, “either” is used to show agreement with a negative sentence. So the correct answer is: A: I don’t like chocolate.
