My favourite hobby is programming applications to control and understand computers. Computers are still very abstract machines for me. I know which parts a computer consists of and I know the theory it starts up from nothing and then loading the BIOS and bootstrapping itself to load an operating system. I am sure it is a long process of learning deeply how computers work and what the differences are between the architectures of components. Currently I am programming a three dimensional game for the browser. I am using a 3D and rendering library called BabylonJS, which is similar to threeJS. My goal is to program a simple version of Minecraft to deeply learn how object oriented programming works in practice. My actual intention is to learn BabylonJS for a different project for the company I am working for. The project is to develop a browser 3D application which shows all the computers and servers and links the documentation to it. The projects have gotten huge and the infastructure is difficult to understand quickly. So the application should help to show the infastructure and inicate problems at servers and mark them with a different color. What do you think about my favourite hobby?
