Is this sentence correct?
Someone says “foo” instead of “bear” in this sentence.
This foo just opens the door like he owns it

Hello Mary, "foo" is a slang word. It is short for "fool" but used like "guy" (gender neutral).
Using "foo" to refer to an animal is personification.

I agree with Isaac; it's probably the slang version of "fool". I really don't think there are any bears involved in this example. Even if a bear could open a door, I don't see how a bear would understand the concept of ownership. Do you have any more context?

I agree with Isaac that "foo" is short for "fool", but in my opinion, it is more degrading than just being a "guy / gal"; it could imply that he / she is an idiot. It's used in a lot of songs (i.e. The Rolling Stones "Baby I'm a fool to cry....") and the rappers tend to say "foo" instead.

I agree with Isaac. This appears to be the slang form of “fool”, with no bears involved. Is there any context to suggest a bear?
