It was stormy today, and the gloomy light made me really drowsy. I decided to hit the gym early in the morning to avoid the rain, which rolled in around noon. After that, Dad and I practiced two narrative poems together. There’s something so cozy about curling up under the warm glow of my reading lamp with a good book. Later, Mom finally nailed that wax-gourd hot-pot recipe she’d failed last time. And this time, it turned out great! All in all, a peaceful day.
