in sailing trim can also refer to the sails being ready. I would probably not say "a trim yacht," but a yacht can be trimmed or more likely, the sails are trimmed on a yacht.
A neat yacht is probably, as Ersa wrote, a clean or tidy yacht. It can mean interesting. Although, using "neat" that way sounds very dated, sounds like a phrase that would be used in the US in 1960s.

A neat yacht is correct
neat = clean or tidy (clean in appearence or in habits, example: A neat person, but also it can be used for house, or yacht as in your example: A neat house)
This is more something you see after a while
trim = is both clean and organized (example: trimming hair)
This is something you see at the moment or just a bit before
Now that I am trying to explain I understand that it has similar meanings, I hope I explained it well :)

As Thomas as already pointed out. Trim or Trimmed in yachting parlance means ready to sail, referring to the sails being hoisted and set ready to sail. This sense of having something anything a machine or vehicle ready to go can be used in other contexts.
