A very bad explanation of the not meaningless do. It is totally wrong to suggest that just because does Spanish not need to say do. Is a poor reason to reason that DO is meaningless and to blame it all upon the poor Celts. The lesson albeit mini lecture failed to explain how to use "Do" and "Can" in current day English. "Do you speak English" or "Can you speak English". Are the correct ways to inquire / enquire about a person's speaking ability in English.
