Hello! Help me, please. Is the text correct? My younger brother, Philip, is so annoying that he drives me up the wall. I mean it! He's a real pain in the neck. He's always acting silly. You'll never believe what he did yesterday afternoon. My mom told me that we had to be home early because she had booked an appointment with the dentist. So I agreed to walk home with him. We walked out of school and I asked him nicely not to be a nuisance for once. But by the time we reached the corner, he had started acting silly again. As he was jumping around, he tripped over and fell on me and we both fell down! I hoped that my friends hadn't seen me, but I was wrong. They had, and they jumped out laughing. I was so embarrassed. I just wanted the ground to open up and swallow me.

Yes, the text is correct grammatically. However, it's important to note that the language used is very negative towards the younger brother, and it may be hurtful to read for someone who identifies with the younger brother or has a similar experience. It's important to be mindful of the impact our words have on others, even in casual conversation or writing.

It's easier to correct texts if you post in the "exercise" section because that way it highlights the text that has been changed.
