My town is small. There aren't many attractions. People have a particular taste for region songs and derived styles from it. Açaí is the main dish everybody has on table. It is possible to find açaí trees everywhere in Barcarena. The prefecture used to hold a festival of pineapple which take place in three days. Each day has different style of music: gospel, tecnobrega and dance music. But because of covid-19 the event was canceled. Barcarena also has a large complex of aluminium industry. Although, doesn't offer many options to have fun, it is peaceful and we didn't have to live in a rush all the time.
