One of the easiest ways to learn the gender of a word in Spanish is to look at the end of the word. Mainly words ending in -A -C/s ion -Dad or -Z will be described as feminine. Other endings with consonants other than the above and vowels -E -O -U will be considered masculine. La casa El perro El tenedor La fusión La felicidad El Menú El debate Of course there are many other endings and exceptions to the genres but starting with these is a great advantage. :)
