Today, more and more people begin to think about this unpredictable problem: Are technological advances always good? Before we start to discuss modern technology, let’s go back thousand years ago. Do you know what was the real purpose of inventing gunpowder? It was invented by accident when alchemists helped the emperor of China make a medicine which could make him live forever. Later, people used the gunpower to make a great creation: fireworks. This was the correct way to use this invention. But when it was taken to Europe everything changed, and this is why it was then called gunpower. It was used in other ways. People started to use guns to kill others and get benefits from the victims. Until today, we still live under the shadow of gun violence. Besides guns, there are other technological advances, such as: computers, phones and other electronic devices. If the inventors just want to get more profit without caring about the influence it would have and how these new inventions will affect everyone's daily life, it's terrible.
