I am not a native speaker, but I see a slight difference between the two: &nbsp;"The file&nbsp;has been uploaded" - and it's still there."The file was uploaded" - It was uploaded at a certain point in the past, but the sentence leaves open whether it is still there or not.So&nbsp;if you want to tell&nbsp;somebody that the file is available for them&nbsp;to&nbsp;download, you'd rather say "The file has been uploaded". &nbsp;

They're both correct . "The file was uploaded."In this form, you are saying that once the file has reached a certain CONDITION, you will take action. "The file has been uploaded."In this sentence you are saying, once our "be" reaches a certain condition, we shall take appropriate action. btw...there's no difference in meaning.

I am not very talented in English but I think the two expressions are right.&nbsp;
