Sarah
Have you ever been in the most famous theater in your country? Do you like theatres, ballets or opera?

Once, I've been in Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. There was the Swan Lake by P.I. Tchaikovsky. And it was amazing! I don't have even words to describe all my impression.
Have you ever been in theater? How it was?

Is it true that theaters are dying?

Hello Sarah,
I sometimes watch some less popular plays in local theatres.
A few years ago I have been watching a ballet too. In fact it was the Russian ballet - 'Oniegin'... But it wasn't in my country. We've made an excursion to Milan to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday together. And we've watched the ballet in Teatro alla Scala. We enjoyed it very much.

I like the theater, but it depends on the type of show.

Sarah, you are right, traditional historical theaters offer an amazing experience!

I remember when I was a child, just before Christmas, in the Opera House of the town where my grandmother lived, there was always a play for children. The theater was huge, all in gold and red, we were all dressed up, there was a sens of magic. I just loved it.

Yes theaters risk to dye if they aren’t financed correctly by rich private sponsors and public finances.

Someday I will come to your country and attend a show in the Bolshoi.

Did you know that now some shows of great Opera Houses and theater are transmitted live in Movie theaters all over the world? It is the case of the Metropolitan theater of New York and the Bolshoi!

So sad, that I like theater but I can't find them in my country. There is a small theater play but not opera and ballet.
