Has anyone run into an unresponsive iTalki teacher before? Mariam Gamal

Hi,

 

I'm posting this question here because I've seen a lot of iTalki related questions in this section before. I also just want to make sure that no one else has run or runs into this problem.

I scheduled a lesson with iTalki teacher Mariam Gamal and she never responded on the day that it was scheduled, nor did she return my credits. She's logged on many times since then.

 

What other steps can I take if the teacher is unresponsive and iTalki can't issue a refund? I've already contacted customer support, but no action was taken and it's been almost two weeks.

Just a note to say I am really, really sorry that this happened. How infuriating! I hope it gets resolved.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, but I hope that no one else runs into this issue. Apparently iTalki will be instituting a new policy where absentee teachers can't withhold ITC/money from students who scheduled a class with them.

I agree on you altogether . The manager of this website must take  some effective steps to restrain such a teacher.
