I've read that the North Pole only has about 1,000 visitors each year, so I highly doubt you'll find anybody who has actually been there.  I did want to go there to visit Santa Claus when I was five years old, but I didn't have enough allowance money saved up to make this journey.   I stopped believing in Santa Claus when I was six years old, and since then I've not wanted to visit the North Pole.

I partly agree with your point that few people has been there. Nowadays with morden equipment and strong curiosity, more and more people begin to be interested in this trip. So am I. If I have chance, why not enjoy this journey to enrich my experience?:)
