Has anyone ever taken a TOEIC test before? What did you think of the test?
I am an English teacher in a private institute, and my work paid for me to take a TOEIC test in order to see how it works.
I got the maximum mark (990). I found the listening part easy but still a bit tricky, as in one part of the test the answers where given in disorder (i.e. Answer 1, then 3, then 2)
The written part was easy for me as all the answers are there for you.
What is everyone else experiences with the TOEIC test? What would you recommend to anyone taking the test?
To a native speaker like you and I it is an easy test, but to a foreigner it is more difficult.
This is why I wanted to get a conversation going about what people who arn't natives think of the test and maybe get some advice from different teachers on how to succeed when passing a TOIEC examination.
