I try to use it every day, however, it seems like strange things are coming out of my mouth, like I bought a cool dress, and my cup runneth over... (I'm happy about it.) I just bought exactly what I wanted, and my cup runneth over. Zhenka's eyes widened in surprise, but his cup runneth over... (he was also full of joy)! Jessicamessica You have understood this expression well. I would say however, that it is rarely used in the UK. It is certainly not something that is said on a daily basis. I would encourage you to try other expressions. For example, "Full of the joys of spring" - when you are energetic, happy and cheerful, "Over the moon", "On top of the world" - feeling very happy.
