日本人の女友達が以下の文章と書いたけど、自分自身を蔑むという文はどういう意味かな。彼女は自分が嫌いですか？それとも、会話の話題が嫌いですか？私達は日本のクリスマスについて話していました。それに、自分と自身と自分自身はどう違いますか？
「恋人いない人はバカにされたりからかわれたりする。一人ぼっちで過ごすクリスマスを日本の若者はクリスマスぼっちって言われたり、自分自身を蔑む」

I might have mistakenly thought so when I read your sentence which said "彼女は自分が嫌いですか" and made the previous comment on it. Maybe I misunderstood her.

It means "despise oneself". She thought herself to be kind of miserable having nobody to celebrate Christmas with.
