Some Phrases I Need to Translate. It's won't be appropriate if I provide word-to-word translation here. We have to follow the unique style or trends of the language, into which we are supposed to translate.
1- Sapno se dil lagane ki aadat nahi rahi.
Har waqt muskurane ki aadat nahi rahi.
Ye soch ke koi manane nahi aayega.
Ab hame rooth jaane ki aadat nahi rahi.
It's not my habit anymore to get involved in my dreams.
It's not my habit anymore to keep smiling every time.
As I know there will be no one coming to console/persuade me,
it's not my habit anymore to sulk.
2- Apni Aankhon ke samundar mein utar jaane de.
Main tera mujrim hoon mujhe Doob ke mar jaane de.
This is very difficult for me to translate. Yet, I will try.
Let me get lost into the sea of your eyes.
I am guilty and
let me die by drowning into that sea.
3- Wo sagar nahi Aansu the mere Jispar wo kashti chalate rahe.
Manzil mile unhe yeh Aarzu thi meri is liye hum Aansu bahate rahe.
Those were my tears and not the sea, on which she/he was sailing her/his boat.
I wished for her/him to reach the destination (safely), so I continued to shed my tears.
4- Apno ne pyar me rula diya
kiya hua jo kisi aur ke liye hume bhula diya.
Ham to waise bhi akele the
kiya hua jo Aapne ye Ehsaas dila diya.
My own people made me cry in love,
so what if they forgot me for someone else.
I was alone from the begining,
so what if they made me realize that I am all alone.
5- Roonay se baddal jatay agar halaat aie dost.
To aaj duniya main hum bhi khush naseeb hotay.
If situations/condition could be changed by crying alone,
definitely, this time, I would have been happy too, like others.
6- Likh bhi loon in haatho pr tera naam to kya faida.
Muqaddar me likhe hue log hi mila karte hai.
Even if I write your name on my palms, there is no use.
We get the people only, who we are destined to get.
