Lifestyle of Korean homeless Like other counties, there are lots of homeless in Korea. I live Andong city where is located at middle of Korea. I usually stay in downtown because my job and take walk through shops instead park. I am familiar everything in downtown even homeless. Korea social welfare is not bad. So if homeless want, they can entrance welfare facility immediately. But in there, they are prohibited drinking alcoholic drink so they reluctantly enter facility. Anyway, I know almost homeless staying downtown. But in spring and fall, I can see unfamiliar homeless. It took few years to figure out why strange homeless can be seen in these two seasons. They move south and north according the season. In Korea, There are several mega-cities. One is Seoul Korean Capital and Busan. Seoul is northern, Busan is southern. Some homeless live one city but some is moving according season. They live in Busan in cold season and in summer they locate Seoul. So I can see them passing my city. But nobody pay attention them except me. I think they move by walk day by day. The common points of two cities are having subway system and there are numerous Protestantism churches. In mega-city, Homeless easily get free meal and can earn money by attending Protestantism churches. The churches give money to them after sermon. The preachers give them 30 to 50cent. Then Homeless move to another church and listen and receive money till can buy alcoholic drink. I don’t know this activity of church is good or no-good. And the homeless earn money by buying alcoholic drink and tobacco for teenagers. If you sell wine or tobacco to teenagers in Korea, It is violation of law so some teenagers buy this through homeless. In spring, when they moved another city, was it beautiful for them blossoming flower along the street. In autumn, was it equally beautiful for them my loving blue sky? Does the man who looks up the same sky with me survive?

Lifestyle of Korean homeless

Like other counties, there are lots of homeless in Korea. I live Andong city where which is located at middle of Korea. I usually stay indowntown because my job and take a walk the through shops instead the park.

I am familiar everything in the downtown area, even the homeless. Korean social welfare is not bad. So if homeless people want to, they can entrance enter the welfare facility immediately. But However, in there, they are prohibited drinking alcoholic drinks so they are reluctantly to enter the facility.

[alt: which makes them reluctant to enter the facilities].

Anyway, I know almost all the homeless staying downtown. But in spring and fall, I cansee some unfamiliar homeless. It took few years to figure out why strange homeless can be seen in these two seasons. They move south and north according the season.

In Korea, There are several mega-cities. One is Seoul, the Korean Capital and another is Busan. Seoul is northern, Busan is southern. Some homeless live one city but some is are moving according the season. They live in Busan in the cold season and in summer they relocate to Seoul. So I can see them passing my city, but nobody pays attention to them except me. I think they move by walking day by day.

The common points of the two cities are having a subway system and that there are numerous Protestantism churches. In a mega-city, the homeless easily get free meal and can earn money by attending Protestantism churches. The churches give money to them after sermon. The preachers give them 30 to 50cent. Then Homeless move to another church and listen and receive money till can buy alcoholic drink. I don’t know if this activity of church is good or no-good not. And The homeless can also earn money by buying alcoholic drink and tobacco for teenagers. If you sell wine or tobacco to teenagers in Korea, It is violation of law so some teenagers buy this through the homeless.

[we have the same laws in Australia, there are stiff fines for shops who break this law]

In spring, when they have moved to another city, was it beautiful for them to see blossoming flower along the street. In autumn, was it equally beautiful for them my loving blue sky? Does the man who looks up at the same sky with me survive?

homeless, refer to them as "the homeless" or "homeless people".

[However and but can mean the same thing, but it is considered bad style to start a sentence with but. In this case, because the sentence is related, I replaced the period with a comma instead. If you do need to use it at the start of the sentence, use however.]

Paran, This is a really interesting piece :)

Where I live, people fake being homeless in order to get money from passersby. I give them food and they pretend to be happy but I can tell they are disappointed. I don't give them money. The real homeless people smell really really bad. That's how I can tell the difference.
