Do you know of the Tangut script?__It's a kind of dead language.__A thousand years ago, ,the minority [In those days, they are considered as barbarians and a distinct people.  The Sung Dynasty has no control over those regions and was never part of the empire.]Qiang people in Western in China used this kind of language. .Their country was called The Chinese called them the Xixia (Hsi Hsia) Dynasty.[They called themselves as the "The Great Xia State of the White and the Lofty" (白高大夏國)]__Their script of Xixia looks like the Chinese characters , to those who do no know the Chinese script. but much One outstanding visible characteristic is that there are more strokes on the average that Chinese characters.  difficult.the strokes are more than chinese characters,Usually between On the average about 10 to 20 more. These characters This script had disappeared for nearly a thousand years .Until until 1908, , when a Russian expedition discovered a the ruins of a city called Heishui in Inner Mongolia. which called Heishui city .They opened discovered in a Buddhist tower, in the west of the city and discovered a lot a trove of Xixia literature.__the dead script were shown in front of the peaple[画蛇添足].
