Do you prefer songs in English or songs in your native language?

As for me, I prefer songs in English. It helps me to learn new words and to learn the language in general. Besides, it is very funny when you are learning English and enjoying the music at the same time. I like rock music but I don't like Ukrainian rock bands, so I listen to American rock bands. But there are some disadvantages of listening to songs in English. Sometimes it is difficult to understand all the words and you don't always understand the meaning of a song. In my native language I understand everything.
