I HATE IELTS!!!
IELTS is driving me mad!!! I achieved (got) an overall mark of 7 without any preparation 2 years ago (Listening 8, Reading 7, Writing 6, Speaking 6) and now (I) need 7 for both writing and speaking so as (in order) to receive (get) an unconditional offer from Leiden University in the Netherlands. (Netherland. )Right now, I’m spending a lot of my precious time, which could be used for reading and learning other languages, on preparing for the IELTS…
I don’t know whether it is due to our thought processes (a problem of thinking method) or not, but it is really difficult for Chinese people to score (get) a 7 in writing. At least, I find it hard. There’s a huge gap between band 6 and band 7 in IELTS writing and I don’t know whether I can make/bridge it in such a short time/timespan. I don’t want to spend all my time doing IELTS preparation and (. I) hope I can just get it over with before next year.
Wish me luck!
