A Typical Day of Mine ( it is possible to say that O_o ? ) Hi! Today I am going to talk you about my usual days. Thanks to my schedule, I can wake up on 8:30 am on the morning. Then, I have a good breakfast -milk with biscuits, but we don't care, lol ^^ - Then I go to my University, where I study English. I learn grammar, phonetics, literature, history... that kinda ( kind of? ) hard, but I do my best. The hardest for me is the pronunciation. A lot of English sounds doesn't even exist in French. I have to "unlearn", to forget, my mother tongue to focus on English. Learning vocable is also very hard. I think that as students, we can't practise enough, so we forget it quickly. Then, I eat, oftenly in the self-service restaurant of the University. The food isn't very good, but it's ok. Abroad, France is said to be THE country of gastronomy : we have indeed some good Chefs, but if you get interrested to my own food, you will forget this cliché : I only heat some food in the micro-wave. On the afternoon, I still have lessons, and I am back at about 6 pm. I do my homeworks, chat with my friends on Facebook and get asleep on midnight. What about your own day? According to you, what is the most difficult in learning French/a foreign language? If you are a native English speaker, and want to Skype, don't hesitate to PM me, I won't eat you!

My Typical Day

Hi!
Today I am going to talk to you about my typical day.
Thanks to my schedule, I can wake up at 8:30 AM/in the morning (either but not both). Then, I have a good breakfast: milk with biscuits, but we don't care, lol ^^ -
Then I go to my university, where I study English. I learn grammar, phonetics, literature, history... it's kinda hard, but I do my best. The hardest for me is the pronunciation. A lot of English sounds don't even exist in French. I have to "unlearn", to forget, my mother tongue to focus on English. Learning vocabulary is also very hard. I think that as students, we can't practise enough, so we forget it quickly.
Then, I eat, often in the self-service restaurant of the University. The food isn't very good, but it's ok. Abroad, France is said to be THE country of gastronomy_: we have indeed some good chefs, but if you go by what I eat, you will forget this cliché_: I just heat some food in the microwave.
In the afternoon, I still have lessons, and I get back at about 6 pm. I do my homeworks, chat with my friends on Facebook and go to asleep at/by midnight.

What about your own day? According to you, what is the most difficult about learning French/a foreign language?
If you are a native English speaker, and want to Skype, don't hesitate to PM me, I won't bite!

Bon travail ! J'ai beaucoup de problèmes avec la pronunciation… et je suis très limité avec ma vocabulaire et mes conjugaisions. Alors, j'ai besoin de pratique.

A Typical Day of Mine ( Is it is possible to say that O_o ? )  Yes.  Or you could say:  A Typical Day for Me.

Hi!
Today I am going to talk to you about my typical day.
Thanks to my schedule, I can wake up at 8:30 am in the morning.  [1]  Then, I have a good breakfast -milk with biscuits, but you don't care, lol ^^ -
Then I go to my University, where I study English. I learn grammar, phonetics, literature, and history... that's kinda ( kind of? ) [2] hard, but I do my best. The hardest thing for me is the pronunciation. A lot of English sounds don't even exist in French. I have to "unlearn" -- to forget -- my mother tongue in order to focus on English. Learning vocabulary is also very hard. I think that as students, we can't practise enough, so we forget it quickly.
Then, I eat, often in the self-service restaurant of the University. The food isn't very good, but it's ok. Abroad, France is said to be THE country of gastronomy : we have indeed some good chefs, but if you get interested in my own food, you will forget this cliché : All I do is heat some food in the microwave.
In the afternoon, I still have lessons, and I am back home at about 6 pm. I do my homework, chat with my friends on Facebook, and fall asleep at midnight.

What about your own day? According to you, what is the most difficult thing about learning French/a foreign language?
If you are a native English speaker, and want to Skype, don't hesitate to PM me, I won't eat you!

[1]  It would be better to leave out "in the morning."  You already said "8:30 am."  Therefore, everyone already knows it is in the morning.

[2]  "Kind of" is standard, and "kinda" is relaxed, very informal speech.
