[1]  Your sentence is correct.  However, in American English we would say, "The traveler said to find him a seat in a non-smoking car."

[2] I could not understand what you meant by these sentences.  So I tried to guess.  If you think I guessed incorrectly, please paraphrase in English or write the sentences in Russian, and I'll try again to help.
