Fisherman's Wharf In Guangzhou 渔人码头
Yesterday Last night my collegue--Amy and I went to fisherman's wharf for relaxing to relax1*. It is a great place for dating actually. I used to go there with other friends or only by myself very often. There is a street called "洛溪食街" next to the wharf, the street name means a street full of many fantastic restuarants in 洛溪 Luoxi!
I love a Korean style roast meat buffet restaurant there, the name is "烤尚宫". I guess the boss of that restaurant is from north China from their accents*2. They also offer 火锅 (hot pot), fruit, vegetables, seafoods, pork, beef, mutton, and many a lot of *3Chinese style food. I don't eat mutton...Two reasons: 1. My year of the animal*4(生肖) is sheep. 2. My doctor told me that my body constitution(体质) is not suitable for eating too much mutton. That's a coincidence I guess. I am sheep and I don't eat sheep's meat, haha... So I seldom eat that food it, I mean I don't haven't totally quit eating it 5*, but I wish I wouldn't didn't 6*eat it anymore. I guess my boyfriend would could never be a Muslim, because I saw a lamb roast restaurant (清真烤全羊餐厅) there. Muslims love mutton, but one food I need to quit is mutton...so my life partner choice is a little clear, haha. NO OFFENSE TO MUSLIMS.
Next time if my friends from other places came to visit me, I will take them to FISHERMAN'S WHARF. Oh, there are also many fabulous bars there! I prefer bars with tender soft/gentle/relaxed music (清吧), not loud bars(闹吧).
Highly recommended! No matter Whether it is the fisherman's wharf or the food in Luoxi food street. I really like that place. Would you like to go there with me?
Thanks for correcting or reading:)
1* Infinitive of puropose - Why did you go?- To...
2* You say 'thier' so I suppose it is the staff. If is the boss it would be his/her.
3* Food is uncountable
4* We talk about 'chinese horoscope' although maybe it isn't correct.
5* or - I haven't totally given it up
6* - wish + wouldn't-- mainly for complaints- I wish my neighbour wouldn't play loud music.
