Write an email describing a trip or weekend away

Hi Dave,

As I said to you in our last email, I went to visit one of my favorite cities one month ago in February of 2015. I was very excited because I wanted to know this city, Paris, since I was a child.

Fortunately I had the opportunity to visit Paris the weekend of 14th February with my girlfriend. There, we slept in a 5 star hotel called Hilton Hotel, then we took a river cruise and visited the most important building in the city, the Eiffel Tower.

Finally I finished the night as best I could, in the terrace of a restaurant beside the Eiffel Tower, under the light of the stars where I asked my girlfriend to marry me. Very surprised and without thought, she answered me “Yes”.
