Don't Be Fooled by Frauds
One day in the past I got this an email from a friend and she said she went on a trip to somewhere and then lost her wallet. So she had no money and asked for to sending her some. I felt really strange about that. I made a call to that friend right off the bat. She said "What are you talking about? I'm at work. I'm in Seoul. That's funny. What are you going to do with that?" I reported it to the police and but they said that there was nothing they could do about it because, in most cases, such emails was were sent from our a neighboring country. that it was It is almost impossible to identify the location of the IP address. And that there was They could not do anything nothing to do because I just wasn't fooled did not fall for the scam.
This is another one of its kind time I was exposed to scam. I got an automated phone call from my credit card company and it was automated. It said my payment was overdue and so to wire the money to the given infomation. As soon as I heard that I was taken aback because I had paid it up on the day before that day. More specifically, I put had set up my card payment in to my bank account and then the card company gets the money automatically deducted from the account on the fixed day every month. I thought that couldn't happen. I right away called the customer service center of the card company to check that out. The staff confirmed that my payment was made on the very day and nothing was left unpaid there was no balance. Phew! And that Also, their outbound call records showed that they hadn't given did not call me a call regarding that matter.
