The Importance To of Know Learning Foreign Languages (Very Well)

I started studying English two months ago, twice a week but, to be honest* sincerely, I didn't like it very much. Then, a week ago, I discovered this website, and now I'm happy to learn English; I like writing here, I like *getting to knowing/meeting people of all nationalities, and especially, I enjoy myself a lot.  I have spoken* with native English speakers, and also with an English teacher, and it's was been in at that moment/then that I realized the importance of to knowing foreign languages. I wanted to say to him "I'm your last student for today/(this day)"  (I think this question isn't in the correct form) but I didn't remember how did you to say "last" so I told him: "I'm at the end of the day". Fortunately, he broke in to a laugh. I mean, if we don't know foreign languages very well, we could have some misunderstanding. I need to study!!!

*this expression  'to be honest . . . '  is often used in spoken English

* 'getting to know . . ' is a colloquial English expression

*or  'I have been speaking with . . '
