Not bad. This is my opinion about the mass media ???? Mass media... what do you think when you hear these words? TV,newspapers, Internet, radio or magazines- yes, you're right. Today they are everywhere around us, but do you think about their meaning in our life? I would like to think TV over. Let's turn the problem in our mind. In my opinion, mass media is a really important thing in our life. Does it make a bad or a good influence on us? Firstly, let's talk about good sites: thanks to mass media we can know almost all that we want to know; we learn a lot of new knowledge while watching different TV programs we broaden our outlook and others. On the other hand, TV is the biggest "zombie - machine". Don't you know it? Just think that information we hear on TV many people turn to real life even it's wrong. Take, for example, our world's main problem, exactly the situation in Ukraine. Compare the information on the central TV channels, such as First channel or Russia 1/24 and news on TVC. So many distinctions, don't them? Yes. Many of central channels propagandize not full, not so real information, better than it is. They tell us information they want and unfortunately lots of people believe in it blindly and think that it's right. But I'm sure that we can find more truth not on popular channels/websites, but on special news' ones. All in all, nowadays mass media, especially television, have the great meaning in our life. As I said before, TV is a "machine" making us such zombies and at last time I'm more and more convinced of it, because I know many people who made their own opinion only with mass media. And I can't make them change their mind, it means that their brains are full of one type of information and they as if programmed special unperception other information about something and as a result they degrade. I was really sad, when I realized it.
