Don't Know What To Do I arrived in Istanbul last Thursday and plan to stay here until the 23rd of September. I had made a plan before I came here. But, due to the freaking hot weather, I don't feel like going out. Another reason is that I had already seen nearly every tourist attractions of Istanbul in 2014 when I studied here. I don't know what I should do during my stay. I want to do something productive. I have checked the weather forecast and it is going to be hot for the next 3 weeks according to it which means I should get over the hot weather and go out to enjoy! I am planning a big trip to Southeast Asia and it is a bit frustrating because my friend who is in Thailand told me that Thailand might be hotter than Istanbul.. How will I walk around under the boiling weather? I am already very concerned about it. I am hoping to find some solutions to get over it.

Yeah that is what I should do! I don't think I can walk around and visit all the tourist attractions again!

Hey HyunWook I suggest that you try to meet some locals and maybe hang out with them and just drink nice tea and talk. I now travel like this.Instead of rushing around a lot of tourist sites I try to soak up atmosphere, meet people and just learn about a place from locals not just being a tourist but more of a traveller. You can try couchsurfing.org to see if there is any local meeting of foreigners visiting. That can be more fun than walking around the steaming hot streets. Enjoy your trip.
