South Park for learning English
I've started watching South Park recently. I've got to say that it is absolutely trash! When you learn English, it might seem arduous to understand because the characters speak quite fast. A lot of slang is used and some voices are sketchy, so it makes it harder to understand properly. Although, this It is enjoyable, though, because they talk about basic topics and they speak like young people.
My daughter watches Daniel the Tiger's Neighborhood, and she begins has started to appreciate it because now she is able to understand lots of things (she's 2 years old).
Yesteraday, I wrote a post about the movie "Terminator". I started to watch the first 35 minutes and I must say that I wasn't lost at all, and I understood around 90% of the dialogues.
It's surely due to my progression with the software "Anki". I've been using it for 3 weeks and I've learned a bunch of new words in their context.
Now I have to diversify my vocabulary when I speak or write English. When I struggle with a phrase, I repeat it 3 or 4 times out loud and I'm able to pronounce it correctly. The day after, my brain has retained the information inconsciently subconsciouly, so the phrase with which a I struggled is mastered.
By the way, don't forget to correct my previous 2 posts, guys!
I think I'm going to try using Anki!
