My Original Japanese Self Introduction with English Translation
I am very happy to make your acquaintance, My surname is Kashima.
I have been studying Japanese for a long while, yet due to my abilities at present I cannot bring myself to regard it as my forte. I began learning Japanese as an 18 year old senior in high school.
When Japanese ended up becoming my favorite language I decided soon after that that I wanted for my career to be some kind of work involving the Japanese language. So then I graduated from Arizona State University specializing in the Japanese language field. I have been recently thinking of work as either a translator or an interpreter.
The other languages I speak other than Japanese are:
English, Mandarin (the standard dialect of Chinese), and a generic kind of Spanish that incorporates many dialects of the Spanish spoken in Latin America.
I am also trying my best to learn Indonesian,French,Italian,German, Tagalog,Arabic,Russian,Hebrew,Cantonese(a Chinese dialect that is spoken in southern parts of China and Hong Kong) Classical Japanese, Classical Chinese, Ancient Latin and Greek.
I hope I don't come off as far too ambitious due to the length of the list of languages I want to learn.
My personality is most certainly overly altruistic. However, I think I prefer to remain this way.
If I can't lend a helping hand to everyone I can I won't be happy. I believe that I have no value otherwise.
I humbly thank you for taking the time during your busy schedule to read my self introduction.
I hope that I may garner your favor in the near future.
