A Mess Day
Last sunday, after breakfast, I send my son to cram school, and then I returned home. The child was at school, my husband was on a business trip, and the house was quiet. So I decided to do some cleaning. In a short time, I was busy mixing water and detergent, and my hands were soon covered with bubbles. At exactly that moment, the mobile phone rang, nothing could have been more annoying. I picked up the phone between two fingers, and was dismayed when I recognized the voice of my sister Lily. It took me five minutes to persuade her to ring back later, at last I hung up the phone. What a mass !There were soap bubbles on my hands, on the mobile phones, and on the floor.

Since you went with him, you didn't send him, you dropped him off (and supposedly you'll pick him up later in the day.
2. The child is very impersonal in English, it sounds strange to use it as a reference to your own son.
A good paragraph though! Hope everything was cleaned up easily.
