I have the language I want to get fluent in. At the moment I am focusing mainly on Catalan and Portuguese but there is more... If you visit a country and you make the effort to learn "hello", "please", "thank you" and a few other basic words the eyes of many a local lit up. Far away from being fluent but definitely worth it. That's also one of the reasons I learn languages. I won't visit a country without knowing at least a few words.
